Aertex
Lancashire mill owner Lewis Haslam discovered the benefit of 'Cellular' fabric back in the 19th century creating a buffer between the warmth of the skin and the chill of the atmosphere. And so the famous Aertex brand was created.
By the 60s Aertex became a leading label for sports and schoolwear, supplying uniforms for the Desert Rats in North Africa in WW2 and the England football shirts for the 1970 World Cup in Mexico.
The Aertex brand is still going strong and playing on its heritage and style creating some of the best shirts around.
